Pricing, Process and Policies

Pricing

Our Custom Designs start at $30 per page. Most things like a unit contest, event flyer, invitation, tracking sheet, or one-sided postcard will be this price. If you are looking to have a large scale banner, brochure, closing sheet, two-sided postcard, or a multiple page document (like a new consultant packet) designed and created, we will contact you with an accurate quote once we have received all of the details of your project!

Always Brainstorm First!

If you're not sure what you want your Custom Design to look like or what the wording should say, be sure to brainstorm and solidify your concept, color scheme and wording prior to contacting us about the creation of your Custom Design. When you provide us with the project details upfront, we'll be able to get a jump start on your design from the very beginning.

Your Custom Design

If you want it to look glamorous, let us know! We'll bling it out and add lots of sparkle and pizzazz! If you want it to be ink/printer friendly, let us know! We'll be sure to use light colors and lots of white space so if you decide to print at home, you'll preserve your ink cartridge. Think about your vision for your Custom Design, or find an example of a color scheme or existing flyer that we can pull inspiration from.

Editable Text Boxes

If you want to be able to use your custom design multiple times but on different dates and occasions, or multiple people will be using it, let us know! We can incorporate editable text boxes into the PDF design, so you will be able to type in dates, locations, current promotions, contact information or a personalized message as you have need. Adding Editable Text boxes will incur an additional $10 charge.

Image Content

If you would like to include headshots of yourself or a guest speaker, location images, your personal logo for your Unit or Area, or any specific products, prizes or other photos in your design, be sure to send them to us! We can crop them out if need be and work them into your design. Please Note: When you provide imagery other than what is provided through Mary Kay's website or a prize website, you must be sure that you have rights to use the images! You can't just Google it, because most of the images and clipart found in a Google Search have copyright restrictions! If you can't find what you need, we have access to several stock photo resources that you can browse through to find what you're looking for.

Text Content

Be sure to read through your text content before you send it to us, and make sure that it looks correct to you! While we do spell-check and read through the content to check for grammatical errors, there are some things that we won't be able to catch! These things include misspelled names, the wrong date, time or address, text being in the wrong order, etc. Reading through your text content before you send it to us can cut down on the number of revisions you need, which means that your final files will be in your inbox much more quickly!

Payment, Turnaround Time & Revisions

Payment is required upfront! We want to ensure that we meet the needs of our clients with a quick turnaround, as well as ensure that we make the most of our designers' time and creative process. If you already have an account with us for one of our other products, we will charge the card we have on file for you. Otherwise, we will send you a PayPal invoice. We will begin working on your design once payment has been received. You will get an email from us containing a proof of your design within 3-5 business days of successful payment. Our Custom Designs include 3 revisions (per item) if needed. When we send the proof of your design to you, please check over it thoroughly and let us know of any and all adjustments you need all at once! If you require any revisions past these 3, an additional fee will incur. Please Note: We will contact you via email with an accurate quote for your Custom Design, and we will not charge your account or send an invoice until you are aware of our pricing for your individual project. We will not begin work on your project until payment is successful.

Your Final Files

Once you have approved your proof, we will send you the final file as both a PDF and an image file, which are the most common file formats used for both print and web/social media. Additionally, if you have a Website or App with us and would like to feature your newly designed files on one of your pages, make sure you let us know and we'll be happy to get it added for you!

We Do the Design/You Do the Printing

We do not offer any printing services, so it's up to you to get your design printed. We have clients that use their local Office Max, or upload their files to VistaPrint. You can do whatever you prefer! If you need something designed to a specific size, please contact the printer you wish to use and ask them for their template sizing and forward that information to us. That way we can make it perfect for you from the get-go and avoid any unnecessary back and forth!

Future Edits

If you need to have text and/or image changes (including, but not limited to: dates, contest requirements, headshots, etc.) made to your original design after final approval and your final files have been sent, or if you simply wish to make changes to your design/concept in the future, an additional fee will incur, starting at $10 for text change per page, $15 per image/text change per page.
