12 years ago, with not a lot of warning and no experience with skin care, color application or sales training, someone told me this was a FUN business that I could work F/T or P/T and who’s founder, Mary Kay Ash, based her business philosophy on Faith 1st, Family 2nd and Career 3rd, not career 1st, 2nd and 3rd. She also told me she thought I’d be good at this. Since I wasn’t having much fun in my medical billing and coding business I figured why not? A little fun would be great and I’ve got nothing to lose. For $100 I could purchase the starter kit, get trained, meet some new people, get my personal products @ wholesale and also my family's, and even make some extra money. Now, here we are, 12 years later, 5 free cars later and having left my medical billing business behind just 8 months after starting my MK business, I’m in a leadership position and I get to share the products AND help more smart, sharp women build their own successful businesses!
